The month for family & friends, the time for giving and loving
and most importantly CHRISTMAS..
and the New year but.. were not talking about that just yet..
and the New year but.. were not talking about that just yet..
December means blasting the Christmas bangers, getting out the
old decorations and realising we need new ones lol, looking for the perfect
tree and the perfect presents for the people in your life. I don’t know about
you but every year I still make Christmas lists in hopes that people will buy
me the things I ‘actually’ want. Yes, it’s good to be grateful but sometimes
there is no effort put in whatsoever.
Today’s blogpost will be a gift guide and some ideas as to
what you can do or purchase for the people that matter to you.
FOR HER ✨π:
Nightwear/ Lingerie: If you know her size and you want to
give her something more naughty than nice, you can invest in a cute set; Satin
sets are a huge trend now. Here are a few places to check out that are catering
to petite, tall & plus size women. I know that Adore Me are currently running a holiday deal on their lingerie page where your first set will only cost $19.95!
Makeup: You cannot go wrong with makeup !
Tips for buying makeup: Never buy foundation unless you know their exact shades, and brands they use. The last thing you want to do is buy them an off shade or a brand that has a formula their skin may not react well to.
In terms of lipstick and palettes, you can have more fun with these as most people can pull off any lip colour these days, as long as they can find an accompanying lip liner or colour to work with.
I'd highly advise you to see what colours they usually wear and going off that you're more likely to find the perfect shades for her.
Below are a few brands ranging from affordable to high end, that I recommend you check out!
FOR HIM πΎπ:
Now for the Gents in our lives..
Don't be basic and buy socks & boxers unless they ask π
Maybe it's time to try a little harder.
Lets start with technology; the affordable kind.
GADGETS!
Drones, Virtual reality & speakers are some of the trending gadgets at the moment.
John Lewis, Fenwick & many other department stores are great for finding the Hi-tech kinda gifts.
If gadgets aren't really their cup of tea and they're more into fashion, i'd suggest customising an item such as football tees, shoes, slippers, even hats. Brands such as Nike and Adidas have certain items that are available for customising too.
I haven't gone too in depth in this post, I may do a follow up.
Hope this gift guide was useful
FUN SHOPPING !
