Today's post is a mini review on the new Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Mascara.
I was kindly gifted this by Influenster in exchange for my honest review.
First things first lets talk about the brand;
Marc Jacobs is a male designer famously known for his 'Marc by Marc Jacobs' fashion line.
In 2013 he delved into the world of makeup and hasn't stopped since; releasing lipstick, foundations, eyeshadows & mascaras' that we all love.
His most recent product; which i'll be reviewing today is the
Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Mascara, which can be purchased in John Lewis for £22.
Packaging
I think we both agree that the packaging is simple but sleek.
I love the high end look and feel especially for the price point.

The Product
The box was gorgeous but the mascara is even better.
The packaging reminds me of some sort of kryptonite shape; can't quite explain it but i love it.
The black gloss look and the metallic engraving- can you tell i'm a sucker for packaging lol.
The Wand & Formula
Mascara wands are designed for different effects, this wand isn't my favourite for my natural lashes as its big for my eye shape/curled lashes; however when coating my falsies its amazing.
The formula isn't fast drying and might be too thick for some.
A lot of the mascaras I use are more liquidy and fast drying whereas this is more like a paste- which I prefer.
There are not many cons to this product in my eyes- apart from the size of the wand I love the formula and packaging and in comparison to other brands around the same price point; this is definitely a fav.
